#BookBlog: August 2016 TBR

Hello August!!

I can’t believe summer is already over and I’m gonna start school again this Monday, August 8th. Even though I already have four months of summer vacation due to a change in our educational system, I feel like I still want more vacation because I’m just starting to like book blogging. Though school is good too. Because school means allowance, allowance means money, and money means I can save so I can buy more books! Even though more books means longer list of TBR’s. Haha! I seriously have an issue on book buying. I can’t ban myself from buying books because having a small bookstore that only sell second-hand and pre-loved books didn’t trigger my book buying obsession. Sure I love books so much but I don’t want to pretend I like the books they sell because most of it are so not my type of books.

So, yeah, I’m not putting myself in a book ban. I will buy books whenever I can manage to save some money.

Now, my TBR list is really long if you include the books I have in my Book WishList. I keep the list updated every time I stumble upon good books. The ratio of my wish list is like 1 is to 3 -I crush out one book that I manage to buy and then I add three more that I want to buy. Crazy, I know. But I just so love books so much. I’m just waiting for the time where I can finally graduate on college so I can have my own job and then I can buy a lot of books without my parents controlling how many I can purchase.

I planned on reading some local books because August is where my country celebrates the event called “Buwan ng Wika” or translated as Language Month. This is where most schools, both in grade school and high school and then some college students, celebrate to appreciate the culture of the Philippines. That’s my plan, to read some local books but I couldn’t buy because, again, no money because no allowance because no school. However, I have some books in my Wattpad library that I could read so I can celebrate with the Buwan ng Wika.

On the other hand, here’s my TBR which I have either a physical copy or a Kindle or eBook copy.

  • Just Between Me and You by aril_dane

Wattpad Description: No description available

  • Heartless by jonaxx

Wattpad Description: Elevators. Airplanes. I always like the things in between. "You only like things in between, Coreen. You only like the chase... You only want me chasing after you. You don't want to decide... And you? I don't think nararamdaman mo yung sakit na nararamdaman ko... You are just too heartless."

Wow! That’s EIGHT books in total! That’s a lot. I just hope I can manage to finish even at least five of it despite school. I will surely do my best! I’m an insane reader, after all. *wink*

Did you see something in your TBR list too? Let me know! I love talking bookish conversations with people who can relate to me.
